UGREEN announces new Thunderbolt 5 dock and more at CES 2025

9 hours ago 1

At CES 2025, UGREEN announced a vast array of new products, including new Thunderbolt 5 docking stations, and a new 6-port 500W desktop charging hub. All of these products will be available in the coming months.

Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station

UGREEN’s new Revodok Max 2131 docking station supports Thunderbolt 5, which the new M4 Pro and Max MacBook Pros can take advantage of. It offers 3 Thunderbolt 5 ports with 80Gbps of bi-directional bandwidth, and up to 120Gbps for display outputs when necessary. This allows it to deliver an 8K signal at 60Hz.

It also has 1 USB-C port at USB 3.2 speeds (up to 10Gbps), two USB-A ports at USB 3.2 speeds (10Gbps), and two USB-A ports at USB 3.0 speeds (5Gbps). It also has an SD card slot, a microSD card reader, an RJ45 Ethernet port for up to 2.5Gbps of bandwidth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s also an additional USB-C port with support for 140W PD charging, which is great for laptops, including the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

It comes with a 180W GaN power adapter in the box, providing ample power for your needs.

This product will be available for purchase in March. Pricing is not yet available.

500W GaN Desktop Charger

The new 500W GaN desktop charger has 6 ports, and as the name suggests, can output up to 500W of power, making it compatible with e-bikes and extremely high power devices, like power tools.

Despite the high wattage, UGREEN promises that it won’t get too hot, as the charger has temperature monitoring that’ll slow things down before it reaches an unsafe level of heat. It also has 6 different GaN chips, which vastly improves efficiency.

It offers 5 USB-C ports and one USB-A port. The first USB-C port can output up to 240W, whereas the other four can output up to 100W. The USB-A port can output up to 22.5W. While all of those add up to more than 500W, it does still cap out at only 500W of output.

UGREEN’s new 500W charging station will be available in March, and pricing hasn’t yet been announced.

Wrap up

While these two chargers aren’t yet available on the market, UGREEN does have a lot of products worth checking out in the meanwhile, many of which are on sale:
